Yay, I'm posting something... only my second thing this year... and its September.
Yah, sad. Well, not really. I did mention this account would be a little slow, and in exchange I wouldn't spam my journals. I know just how annoying that is.
Alright, so here is a sort of native inspired anthro sunlight weathervein quickly colored in metallic Prismacolor Verithin pencils on black card stock.
I think the coloring took about 45 minutes actually... which is like the speed of light compared to all my other medias. The character sketch has actually been around since December 2011. I just recently un-earthed it around with about a dozen other "lost projects."
And if it matters, "native anthro" like this is my preferred type of anthropomorphic animals, compared to "furry anthro" or "pseudoanthro" on the majority of my other art accounts. Head top hair on animals has always felt odd to me in some way but when it comes out of the neck, that concept actually feels rather natural.
