Aerisis Bust

Yay! An original design art for this account finally.

This is actually pretty revolutionary for me. I did this in Photoshop WITH layers. If you are familiar with most of my digital paintings, I paint them in Open Canvas 1.1 on one layer, pretty much how I would do traditional art.

This one used all sorts of fancy Photoshop things such as layer modes, masks, this brush technique (though had to match it to my Ps version): [link] , and of course.... layers. Yah, using layers outside of my vector work feels quite strange. My vectors require their own layers by default, so I never had much choice there.

If anything, this started as a 10 minute sketch in Open Canvas. Finished in Photoshop CS5 over the course of about 5 hours.
